On Friday the 13 November 2020, 2 chainz released his sixth studio album "So Help Me God" under Def Jam Recordings label. The multi-platinum rapper's project contains 15 tracks with 10 featuring, including Lil Wayne and Mulatto, Lil Duval, Kanye West, Rick Ross and others. The Atlanta rapper is styling a nostalgic throwback for the cover of the album. The cover shows a photo of the rapper at the age of 14, wearing two chains (2 Chainz).

the artist celebrated the released with an outdoor parking lot concert at the Gateway Center in College Park, Georgia, which is south of Atlanta.

This is the way The Atlanta rapper describes his choice of the album cover on Instagram:

“I know that many artists have used their photos of children or teens to tell their story or reveal their journey, but this is different! this is me when i was in eighth grade, this was a test photo because like many of us we couldn't afford to order the picture pack and yes i had two chains, i was an aspiring drug dealer and an occasional thief (when pop went to jail and told me to steal things I needed but didn't want) if I could say something to that person today, I would tell him not to give up, times are hard, but they don't last forever.
